The most important match of the most wonderful tournament of the year. SW19 saw lots of ups and downs for both the players within 3 hours and 56 minutes of game. The epic five setter showed two great champions were on display: it was Novak Djokovic who just hung on. He was a worthy winner, showing tremendous guts to come back after losing the fourth set. The great Federer gave his all but it was not to be. A wonderful sporting occasion: top class tennis on show in the first couple of sets, and then a huge battle of heart and will, with the old twin imposters of triumph and disaster both shaking their stuff on this famous court in the early evening sunshine. Was nice to see both players gracious towards their opponent afterwards, but not a surprise from these two fine men. A quick synopsis of final :

Truly one of the G.O.A.T. in the history of grand slams' finals. Some moments were on par with the epic Wimbledon 2008 final.
